Reserve a Trunk TODAY!  The Minnesota Wildlife and Habitat Trunk & the Minnesota Tree Trunk are available for use by you!  Trunks will be loaned to teachers/leaders in Yellow Medicine County free of charge. 

The Minnesota Wildlife and Habitat Trunk gives an opportunity to learn about animals, where they live, what they eat, and what they look like. The trunk includes animal pelts and skulls, games, posters, videos, puppets, and activities with instructions.

What are the parts of a tree? What different ways do trees help wildlife and people? What are two tree facts? The Minnesota Tree trunk can help you answer these questions and many more in a fun, hands-on way.

Lesson plans are included for ages K-6 and are labeled for the appropriate grade. If you would like to use either of these trunks or would like more information, call the SWCD at 320-669-4442, ext. 3.
